I've been seeking templates for Notion all over the web, but I sit back and wondered why I’m so desperate to see how others are using the app. Why don't I find solutions to my own productivity problems instead? One problem I have is with my album discovery. With new music out every week, I tend to lose track of my favorites. Yes, I can make a quick playlist on Spotify but those get deleted and rearranged constantly. I want a place to keep all of my quick thoughts about albums in one place for reference, and more importantly, I want a semi-automated system that can curate a Best of (month, year, etc) list. Resonance lists in Notion are god sent, and as much as I like piling all of my media favorites in one massive database, it can get a bit cluttered. Which is why I made a separate one for music with extra bells and whistles like component ratings (production, lyrics, tone ...) that would otherwise be a nightmare to look at in a master database.
