The first go at anything is daunting; so much so, in fact, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by the adrenaline rush. It’s an odd feeling, hard to explain and whenever I worry if an audience is going to grow in the months to come, I retreat back to this sort of bittersweet feeling - something like a coping mechanism. I’ve written three articles with care and one I’m very much proud of. My social growth, of which I started 30 days ago, is having a nice growth spurt this week due to implementing new strategies. I launched a newsletter and I’ve officially checked off my one year weight-loss journey at 75 pounds lost! Things are going well.
What I Loved Last Month
I listened to the audiobook while at work. I have no words. Simply, it changed my life.
I never knew much about the founding fathers and nuanced on-goings of the Pennsylvania Convention. Although, I’ve always been curious. A very easy, interesting and enlightening read for today’s political climate.
The title speaks for itself. I’m a Leo but I identify most with a Taurus. I’m stubborn and I don’t like having holes in my knowledge, or rather, letting people know about these gaps. Read this if you’re like me.
A fantastic lifestyle podcast produced by a YouTuber and his brother about thoughtful perspectives on entrepreneurship, study habits, tech, online success, programming and really a mixed bag of everything up my alley.
A seriously perfect note-taking app that has everything except handwriting capabilities. Not that it really needs it. A combination of endless customization tools, chart-making, list construction, scheduling etc. It’s been a lifesaver and has resulted in deletion of excess productivity apps.
My year to 75 pound weight-loss is all thanks to this app. Well, my eating habits and discipline too. I’ve practically walked off the extra fact. Not once did I run, go to the gym or break a dramatic sweat. Just walking! I track my steps with Pacer. My daily goal: 18,000 to 28,000 steps.
